Who runs it
Lonestar Services is owned and run by Tony Lee. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and has ten years of painting experience behind him.
He started the company in September 2025. It is locally owned in East Texas, based in Van, and it is insured.
What the company does
Two trades. On the painting side: interior and exterior painting, cabinet painting, trim, doors and shutters, fence and deck staining, and drywall repair and prep. The paint is Sherwin-Williams.
On the lighting side: permanent roofline lighting for homes, accent and architectural lighting, security and everyday white lighting, and repairs and service on existing systems. The system is Lumenary Pro, and Tony holds the Lumenary Pro Installation Certification for it.
Where the work happens
There is no shop to visit. Lonestar Services travels to the customer, anywhere within 50 miles of Van, which takes in Canton, Tyler, Lindale, Mineola, Grand Saline and Athens.
Work runs Monday through Saturday. Hours vary by appointment, so the way to get on the calendar is to call or text (469) 652-0800. We are closed on Sunday.
What stands behind the work
Lighting carries a 5 year labor warranty and a lifetime warranty on the lights. Painting workmanship is warrantied for up to 3 years. Financing is available through Acorn, and there is a 5% discount for military, veterans and first responders, as well as a 5% bundle discount for lighting plus painting.
